Licensing

We have pleasure to announce, that since the version 2.1 there are no more registration, based on the hardware identifier. Following multiple demands, we have changed the license agreement to avoid limitations, related to the necessity of using the grid on the specified hardware.

To use the MFC Grid, you should activate the license. Each license (grid or other products) has two parts.

• License (Usually contains information about the owner of the license, their type, expiration).
• Activation key (The part of the license that validates the License's information. Usually presented as 128-bit value).

Both, license's information and activation key you will get after purchasing a license. The license is stored in the system registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Dapfor in string values MFCGridLicense and MFCGridKey.

You can add the license manually or download a small application which will help you to write the license to the system registry. This application is available here
